Green Timbers Park

Green Timbers is my home away from home. I go here to relax and get away from the stresses of the grueling daily schedule. It offers a place to unwind.

Anybody recognize this Surrey Neighbourhood?

Surrey Memorial Hospital Expansion

I haven't kept up with the Surrey Memorial Hospital expansion, but as far as I know, the expansion is supposed to include a critical care building that will have a helipad at the very top. Evidently, the new tower will be a part of the Emergency wing with a new expanded Emergency and an expanded ambulance bay.

I will attempt to keep the further development of SMH in the watchful eye of my camera lens - photo captured with iPhone 4s.

SFU - Surrey at Central City

SFU-Surrey at Central City - it is one of the most iconic buildings in Whalley. Probably next in popularity to the Main Surrey Public Library.

Surrey...a Vibrant, Growing Community

There are a lot of disparaging comments made about Surrey. However as one of the more than 468,000 people who reside in Surrey, I find it a beautiful, vibrant park-filled city that combines natural wildlife areas with urban settings.
Central City Mall and SFU

From great big nature parks like Green Timbers to family parks such as Holland Park and many of the numerous community parks that dot Surrey's landscape, Surrey is truly a "City of Parks" as Paul Griffin has coined the motto of the City of Surrey.

Serpentine Fen Migratory Bird Sanctuary

No matter what other people may say about Surrey, I'm proud to call it my home.
